We at The Pilates Sanctuary take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your privacy.
Any information you give us is used exclusively by The Pilates Sanctuary staff. We do not share any personal information with any third parties, or rent, sell, disclose or distribute your information to any outside parties.
The Class Scheduling and Booking System
We use software called ‘StudioGrowth’ to administer our online booking. You can see their Privacy Policy via this link: https://studiogrowth.com/privacy-policy/. By booking through ‘StudioGrowth’ your name, address, email and phone-numbers, plus a record of the classes you have booked, is stored on a database that only Terri Josephson has access to. By booking this way you are agreeing to let us send you the email or text notifications reminding you about your Pilates classes and our newsletter to let you know when new classes or workshops are coming up. You can unsubscribe from these notices at any time by using the link at the bottom of each email.
Enrollment Forms and Medical Information
We ask everyone who attends a class or studio session to fill in an enrollment/liability waiver form. This asks you for name, address and phone-numbers and has a health information section. It also asks you to agree to a list of terms and conditions.
To be able to do our job as Pilates and group exercise teachers, we need to ask you information about health conditions and injuries. It is very important you give accurate and current information to us, and keep us up-to-date with your state of health.
Enrollment forms may be stored as paper copies and may be uploaded to our StudioGrowth site. Only studio teachers have access to these stored copies.
We do not discuss teaching you or any details of your health, with anyone outside of our group of Pilates and group exercise teachers working at The Pilates Sanctuary. We only discuss your health between teachers when you are going to see another teacher. We may ask your permission to talk to or email your physical therapist, doctor or other health care professional, if we think this would benefit your exercise program. You would be entitled to see this correspondence if requested.
